Everything you need to know before booking a car with Gera Rental in Barcelona.
No. We do not freeze funds on your card, and this is one of the main differences of our rental service. You leave the deposit in a convenient way: cash, transfer to a euro account in Spain, or card terminal. We return it when the car is handed back after inspection.
We accept national driving licences from most countries without requiring an international licence. Driving experience must be at least 2 years, and the driver must be at least 20 years old. If you are unsure about your licence, message us on Telegram or WhatsApp.
You can pay in cash, by card terminal, or by transfer to a euro account in Spain. On request, we can accept Ukrainian hryvnia or digital assets. A credit card is not required for the rental.
Basic third-party liability insurance is already included in the price. It covers damage to other road users, but not damage to the rented car itself.
Full CASCO coverage is optional for rentals from 5 days. It protects the car from damage. The surcharge is +40% of the rental price, or +20% for monthly rentals.
If something happens, contact the manager immediately at +34 651 960 828. We will guide you through the protocol and, if needed, bring a replacement car. If the damage is the client's fault and CASCO is not active, compensation is withheld from the deposit.
Yes. Our cars can be driven throughout Spain, Andorra, France, Italy, and Portugal. For cross-border trips, the deposit is doubled. Snow chains, which are needed for Andorra in winter, are provided free of charge.
Yes. Our cars have eco-stickers, so you can enter city centers in Spain and many European cities where these rules apply. If a city has special access requirements, we will warn you in advance.
The minimum rental period is 3 days. If you need the car for 1-2 days, we will calculate it using the minimum-period rate. Individual conditions are possible for regular customers.
Standard pickup in Barcelona is available from 9:00 to 20:00. We can also deliver the car: Barcelona city - 20 EUR for delivery, 30 EUR for delivery and return; El Prat Airport - 30 EUR for delivery, 50 EUR for delivery and return. Other cities or night-time delivery are arranged individually.
